Death by Denim is New Zealand’s premier top-to-toe boutique, specialising in Denim for men and women looking for that perfect pair of jeans. We stock premium quality and fashion forward New Zealand and international brands – including Cult of Individuality, Johnny Was, Ministry, No Excess, Aida Maeby, White Chalk, LTB, Vigorella, David Smith, Diesel, Mimosa, Garcia, Seduce, Zafina and Mavi Jeans… to name just a few.
What if I’m unsure about my size?
If you’re making a purchase online and you’d like advice on choosing the best fit, please don’t hesitate to contact our team! We’re experts in fashion form and fit, and can help you determine the best fit for a particular item when shopping online. Alternatively, visit our Christchurch store if you’re in the area to be personally fitted by one of our denim experts.
How do I shop online?
Shopping online is safe and easy. Simply browse our collection, choose your size, and add items to your shopping cart. You can add as many items to your cart as you like while continuing to browse. You can also review your cart (by clicking the cart icon at the top right of your screen) at any time, and remove any unneeded items as required before completing your purchase. When you’re ready to buy, simply click the cart icon and then hit the CHECKOUT button to be taken to our secure payment area. There you’ll fill in your payment and shipping details, and your item will be on its way in no time. Voila!
How will I pay for my order?
Death by Denim accepts a range of payment methods, including credit card or PayPal. We also accept payments with LayBuy, so you can shop now and spread your payments over 6 weeks. Wear it now, but pay later!
What are your shipping charges?
We charge a flat rate of just $5.00 for shipping New Zealand wide. Shipping to Australia is at a flat rate of $30, and for shipping anywhere else in the world you will need to contact us to arrange and conform before completing your purchase.
How will my item/s be delivered?
To get your items to you as quickly as possible, we deliver all orders via New Zealand Courier. You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order has been shipped, and you can expect to receive your item/s within 1 – 3 working days (or 3 – 5 working days for rural delivery).
Can I return an item if it doesn’t fit, or I change my mind?
Sure thing! To arrange a size exchange, or return for a store credit, simply email our team within three days of receiving your order. Please not that all returns must be in original and unworn condition, with tags attached. Return of items is at the buyer’s cost. We offer store credit or exchanges only. No returns on Sale Items
What if my item arrives damaged, or has a fault?
If you’d like to return an item (excluding discounted or sale items), please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with your email address and order number. We’ll provide you with the info you need to submit a return.
Once your order has been sent back it will undergo a quality review. Once approved, you will have an option for a refund or online store credit equal to the purchase value of the item/s. Please note any credit on returns will incur a $5 shipping fee, and we reserve the right to refuse the refund of an item if there are signs it has been worn, washed, damaged, or is not up to saleable quality.
If you opt for an online store credit, we will email you a unique credit code, which you will then be able to redeem at the checkout during your next purchase.
